Privacy Policy
OmniProfit is a free e-commerce profit calculator. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use cookies, and the rights you have under GDPR and CCPA.
Last updated: January 2026
Information we collect
OmniProfit runs entirely in your browser. We do not require an account, and the sale prices, costs, and margins you enter never leave your device — they are held in memory only and discarded when you close the tab. We do not sell, share, or store your calculator inputs on our servers.
What we do collect is limited to standard technical data that any website receives when you visit it: IP address, user agent, referrer, and pages viewed. This is used for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate traffic analytics.
Google AdSense
This site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites on the internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and other websites.
Google uses the DoubleClick DART cookie to personalise ads you see on AdSense-enabled sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
When served within the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, ads shown by Google honour the TCF consent signal from our cookie banner. If you decline advertising cookies, Google will serve only non-personalised ads (or no ads at all, depending on jurisdiction).
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how visitors discover and use OmniProfit. Analytics scripts only load after you grant consent through the cookie banner. We never combine analytics data with any personally identifying information.
Your rights under GDPR (EU/UK)
If you are based in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR grant you the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure — ask us to delete your data (the right to be forgotten).
- Right to restrict processing — ask us to stop using your data while a concern is resolved.
- Right to data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling.
- Right to withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
- Right to lodge a complaint — with your local data protection authority.
Our lawful bases for processing are: consent (for analytics and advertising cookies), and legitimate interest (for security logs and aggregate traffic measurement). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
Your rights under CCPA (California)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, gives you the following rights:
- Right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell or share.
- Right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- Right to limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense, but our use of Google AdSense cookies for advertising may qualify as “sharing” under the CCPA. You can opt out by declining the advertising category in the cookie banner, or by enabling the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser, which we honour automatically.
International data transfers
Our hosting providers and ad partners may process data in the United States and other jurisdictions outside the EU/EEA. Where required, these transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Children
OmniProfit is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or to applicable law. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when the current version took effect. Material changes will be flagged prominently on the site.
